In "Reaching Out" to our world through evangelism the Ambassador's for Christ Ministry was formed. The cultural mandate given to the church by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to go into all the world and make disciples.
In "Reaching In" to our new believers we have developed a discipleship ministry in that we provide training based on biblical principles, establish the fundamentals of faith and equip disciples to do the work of ministry. Here is what we're doing to make disciples of all nations:
- We Care Ministry is very instrumental in the Follow-up Ministry
- New Believer's Class
- New Members Orientation Class
- Discipleship 101
The Follow-up Ministry assists new believers after their Christian conversion by providing personal support through telephone calls, letters and cards. Involvement in the local church is strongly encouraged in order that they might reach their full potential and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
The New Believers' Class is a class for new believers. The class teaches fundamental aspects of salvation, prayer, study of the word, holiness, etc.
The New Members’ Orientation Class consists of seven sessions of teaching. In these sessions, we outline the structural nature of this church and its history and explain the various ministries in operation. Included in this important class are Biblical references for our order of praise and worship, why we tithe, why we have Bible study, as well as other relevant information.
Discipleship 101 is a thirteen week class. This class teaches fundamental aspects of building a solid foundation for victorious living. Included in this class are newborn Christians and people who been saved for a while, yet lack a proper foundation to grow in the things of Christ.
